Social Media Coordinator
United By Blue is a mission-driven clothing and accessories brand, with a focus on material sustainability, manufacturing transparency, and reducing ocean plastic pollution by removing one pound of trash from waterway for every product purchased.
Core Responsibilities:
Managed content strategy, planning, and creation for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and Spotify.
Daily posting and community management.
Implemented new growth strategies that achieved a 15K+ follower increase.
Created an ambassadorial program and built an influencer relations strategy.
Developed a new tracking system to monitor core KPIs.
Managed social partnerships with brands like TenTree, Stasher, and LaColombe.

Influencer and Ambassador Programs
Built and managed the brand’s ambassadorial program, which operated on a product-for-content basis, and hand-selected micro- and nano-influencers to partner with first.
Kickstarted the brand’s paid influencer strategy and managed all partner relations—from initial outreach, to negotiations and agreement drafting, to content review, and payments. Notable influencers included Forrest Mankins, Noelle Mardo, Wear I Live, Hailey Miller, and Courtney Steeves.


























Digital Content Series
Coordinated a variety of content series, such as monthly Sustainability Heroes spotlights, the Anti-Social Earth Club, 7 Days of Social Giveaways, and a Virtual Earth Month campaign that included partners like 5Gyres, Earth Day Network, Impact For Good, REI, TenTree, La Colombe, and Stasher.
